Amyl, pentyl and isopropyl nitrite aren't different strengths of the same thing; they're three separate formulas, each with a distinct character. There is no reliable data ranking one as stronger than another, and we won't claim otherwise. Most buyers land on a preference through direct experience rather than research, so if you're deciding between them for the first time, a single bottle of each is a more reliable way to compare than going by claims alone.

About Amyl Nitrite

Amyl nitrite (CAS 110-46-3) has the longest history of the three formulas here. Today's version is a standard industrial-grade formulation, not the same as older pharmaceutical-grade amyl, but it's genuinely amyl, stocked as its own distinct range.

About Isopropyl Nitrite

Isopropyl nitrite is a separate formula from amyl and pentyl, with its own distinct character. This is the formula most widely available in our store. The majority of our isopropyl nitrite brands are made in the UK.

About Pentyl Nitrite

Pentyl nitrite is a premium formula in its own right, stocked across a range of strengths and pack sizes. The pentyl nitrite in our store is manufactured in Europe.
